A Holistic Approach to Prevention and Wellness

Chronic diseases are at epidemic levels. They include heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, cancer, arthritis, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and fibromyalgia among others. Medication helps stabilize and address symptoms once disease hits, but, medication does not prevent or heal disease. For good health, wellness and prevention, it is important to use holistic techniques on a daily basis. This article is an introduction to the holistic approach to health.

The holistic approach will boost your energy and immune system. This will boost your body’s ability to prevent and heal disease. The holistic approach will improve your brain chemistry and brain wave activity for good mental health.

The holistic approach consists of mind-body-spirit techniques. The mind, body and spirit (i.e., the spirit is the energy body) are all connected and play a role in disease, prevention and healing. The mind cannot be separated from the energy body. The mind and the energy body together include the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind. All these aspects of mind affect health.

The energy body is the energetic aspect of the physical body (and includes the unconscious and subconscious mind). The energy body draws-in, processes and distributes life force energy that courses through our bloodstream. This energy comes from the Universe and the earth. When we are healthy, this energy infuses each cell. The energy body consists of the soul or higher self, the aura, chakras and meridians.

For good health and prevention, we must be positive happy and peaceful and our energy bodies must be cleansed of negative energy, peaceful, positive, intact and vibrant. Disease hits when the mind, thoughts and emotions are negative and turbulent. This is inevitable if the energy body is not clean, healthy and intact. Under these circumstances, we generate negative energy that hurts our health. This negative energy damages our energy body, making it difficult to draw-in, process and distribute life force energy and repel negative energy from the outside.

Negative energy drains our life force energy and damages our energy body. Most negative energy in our lives comes from beliefs, thoughts, acts and speech that are negative. Good heath requires us to be filled with vibrant life force energy. This is positive energy. Disease hits when mind, body and spirit are out of balance and filled with negative energy and when negativity and stress dominate our lives.

Negative energy, negativity and stress drain a person’s life force energy and damage a person’s immune system. This makes a person vulnerable to disease.

Stress is a leading cause of disease. When we are under stress, our system goes into "fight or flight" modality. We are not in balance. We secrete adrenalin and cortisol on a continuous basis that harms the body and brain. For prevention, it is important to substantially reduce stress in our lives, stay in balance and out of "fight or flight" modality, replace negativity with optimism and happiness and positive energy.

The stress in our lives comes primarily from our own negative beliefs, thoughts and inner voice as well as our negative and impulsive reactions to stress factors. Stress factors include negative and toxic people, situations and environments. Stress also comes from holding onto the painful memories of trauma and associated negative beliefs, thoughts and emotions. Negative beliefs and thoughts lead to negative acts and speech, which put us under further stress.

Stress also comes from holding onto negative thoughts and emotions - anger, grudges, fear, anxiety, hate, jealousy, guilt and shame. It comes from acting on our negative thoughts and emotions by intentionally hurting and deceiving others.

Our bodies were not meant to be under continuous stress. Our cells were not meant to be continually bathed in adrenalin and cortisol. Our bodies were meant to be primarily relaxed. Our bodies were not meant to be under assault from toxins in the air, water, sol and food. But, they are. So, we must pacify and de-toxify ourselves, flush out and let go of the painful past, change our beliefs and thoughts from negative to positive, raise our vibrations and substantially reduce stress in our lives. We must also increase take in a lot more nutrition, water and oxygen each day and exercise and stretch.

Take time each day to de-stress and relax. Be mindful of your thoughts, acts, speech and reactions. If they get negative, return to inner peace, balance and happiness as soon as possible. Get rid of fear, anxiety and anger as soon as possible. Do not hold onto negativity. This is stressful. Do not suppress it. Instead, through visualizations, meditation, deep breathing and prayer, flush out negativity and stress and let it go. To substantially reduce stress, it is important to live a conscious and mindful life, oriented to inner peace, balance, happiness and love and living in the moment with full attention and awareness. .

Do things each day to achieve inner peace, balance and joy and build up your energy and inner power. When you feel peaceful and happy, thoughts, acts and speech tend to be positive. This in turn generates positive energy and repels negative energy, which helps prevent illness.

Build up your energy and immune system with daily meditation in the heart, daily prayer from the heart, visualization techniques and deep breathing exercises along with positive affirmations and positive thinking exercises. Do things each day to make yourself smile, laugh and feel peaceful and happy. With respect to depression and mental and emotional disorders, these exercises along with brain wave entrainment meditation (theta, beta, delta brain wave entrainment with binaural beat) will help improve your brain chemistry and brain wave activity.
Let go of anger, grudges, fear, worry and anxiety. Let go of thoughts about revenge or getting even. Flush all this out and let it go. Stop ongoing negative thoughts. Avoid negative and toxic people, situations and environments. Avoid conflict and drama. All of these things are stressful and will undermine your efforts to achieve and maintain inner peace, balance, happiness and good health. .

If you cannot avoid negative and toxic people then build and maintain boundaries with them. Be polite, but do not let them in too close. Negative and toxic people will agitate you and drain your energy and inner power, put you in a state of stress and damage your health. They will dominate your thoughts and keep you in a negative frame of mind.
Stress is also caused when we hold onto painful memories and associated negative and painful emotions in the conscious, unconscious and sub-conscious mind. Often, these painful memories come from childhood traumas that damage the energy body and result in negative energy stored at the cellular level. For prevention and good health, it is important to repair the energy body and flush out and let go of painful memories from our cells (i.e., the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind). It is important to sever the energetic grip these memories have on us. This is done through Reiki and Shamanic healing (and other forms of energy healing) along with meditation and visualization exercises discussed below.

Energy healing helps to repair a damaged energy body. It uses positive energy as an antidote to stored negative energy. Painful memories along with associated negative emotions are held at the cellular level through negative energy. When we flush out and let go of the grip of negative and painful memories and repair and heal the energy body, this helps restore balance, happiness and well being to us. To further relieve stress, it is important to become a positive thinker and to stop dwelling on insults, injuries, negativity and judgment of self and others. All of this is negative. It puts us in an ongoing state of stress and generates negative energy for us.

In order to achieve and maintain inner peace and balance, stay in the moment and stop negative thoughts about the past and future. Forgive self and all others and let go of ongoing negative thoughts about the past or future. Live in your heart or body center (and not in your thoughts or head). Live each moment fully engaged in the moment with full awareness and attention. Avoid conflict and drama. Avoid negative and toxic people and environments. Live in the senses and not in thoughts. Focus thoughts on positive and productive endeavors only Let go of all negative and rigid beliefs and open your heart and mind.
A lot of stress comes from trying to judge and control others and our ongoing negative thoughts of others. Be mindful of these thoughts, stop them and let go.

This article provides an introduction to techniques to do this. We learn to stop negative thoughts and a negative inner voice with positive thoughts, happiness and a feeling of high self confidence, self worth and self esteem

A continuous state of relaxation, inner peace, happiness, optimism and joy will enable life force energy to flow through you freely. The free flow of life force energy is great medicine. The free flow of life force energy will boost your energy and immune system and improve your brain chemistry and brain wave activity.

Turn off the news and turn on peaceful, happy and harmonious music. Surround yourself with beauty and positive and happy people and pets who love you. Make your home an organized, clean, beautiful and relaxing space. Spend more time in nature and around art. Learn to totally relax. Get massages. Get reflexology. Take soothing salt baths and showers. Have fun. Laugh and smile. Focus on the beauty and positive aspects of life. Focus on nature and people, entertainment and things that make you happy, smile and laugh.

Inner peace leads to happiness. Deep breathing techniques help bring inner peace as well as meditation, prayer and visualization. Forgive your self and others in your heart and let go of past wrongs. This is done through prayer, meditation and visualization. Pray from your heart each day – Thank and praise the Divine, ask the Divine for forgiveness and blessings.

Use the visualizations contained below to cut energy cords that keep you attached to the negative and painful past and negative and toxic people. Through visualizations, purge the painful past. Let go of it. This will help you achieve inner peace and peace of mind. Purge all negativity inside you daily – all anger and fear and fill yourself with visualized white light through your heart. Visualize it as unconditional love that feels peaceful inside. Fill up with white light through deep breathing exercises and visualization.
Detach from obsessive desires. Obsessive desires are caused by energy attachments that are spun out by ego to people, things, substances, concepts and beliefs. Obsessive desires and attachment cause inner stress and agitation.

As mentioned above, live in your heart or body center and not in your thoughts. Thoughts tend to go negative, especially when one has negative or rigid beliefs. This is because thoughts/intellect is tied to ego and too much ego is the source of much negativity in our lives.
It is important to quickly de-stress when hit with anger, anxiety, self pity, shame or guilt. These negative and painful emotions will drain your energy and vitality. This is done through deep breathing exercises. Then detach from and purge these negative and painful emotions and related thoughts. This is done through visualization, meditation, deep breathing exercises and prayer.

When hit by negative and painful emotions and thoughts, close your eyes and take some deep and slow breaths and focus solely on your breath. Let go of all else. Concentrate solely on breathing until you become peaceful inside. As you develop peace of mind and peace of spirit and let go of negative and rigid beliefs and open your mind and heart, your thoughts will be more positive. Your energy and vitality will improve.

Focus on being positive, peaceful and happy. Focus on achieving and maintaining this feeling on an ongoing basis. Fill yourself up with positive energy through deep breathing, meditation, prayer and visualizations. Express gratitude each day from your heart for all your blessings. Enumerate them. Do not focus on what you lack. Focus on being filled with self confidence and inner power and energy. Find ways to enjoy the moments of life each day. Smile, laugh and dance. Get into nature daily. Treat your self with kindness and shut off the critical, judgmental and negative inner voice. This is done through meditation, visualization and positive affirmations.

Take Care of Your Body
To prevent disease, it is important to take care of your body. Stress, toxins and negativity deplete the nutrients in the body. The energy and immune system require a lot of nutrition, especially given the level of stress and negativity that is around us. To help build up your physical body: (i) eat a high nutrient diet (mostly fresh vegetables, fruit, berries and nuts), (ii) take mega vitamins and supplements including vitamin A, B (B-6 and B-12 and Folic Acid and Niacin especially), C, D (D3 especially) and E, (iii) take antixoidants ( CoQ10, green tea and green tea extract), fish oil, adatogens ( such as cordyceps, reishi and shitaki mushrooms), asrtagulus and anti inflammatory supplements such as fish oil and (iv) take trace minerals and amino acid supplements.

Eat a high nutrient diet – mostly whole fresh vegetables, fruit, berries, nuts and seeds. Limit animal proteins. Eggs, legumes and other vegetables contain protein. Substantially reduce sugar and fat. Use natural fats to cook such as olive oil and butter. But, go light on dairy products such as butter and cheese because they have a high calorie contact and you want to burn the calories you consume to not get overweight. Avoid hydrogenated and polyunsaturated fats such as vegetable, corn, margarine and safflower oil. Avoid processed and packaged foods. Consume whole foods primarily. Organic and fresh food is best because it contains the most nutrients and the least toxins. Avoid refined sugar and grain products especially refined white wheat products. Count calories. Consume a reasonable amount of calories each day. Maintain a healthy weight.

Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption. Stop smoking. At least, cut back on the number of cigarettes you smoke and the depth and number of your inhalations. Smoke can damage your lungs, making it difficult to draw-in oxygen and life force energy. Exercise daily. Walk a few miles each day. Stretch and stand and sit straight without slouching so your energy flows freely through you. Get up and move as much as possible. Breathe deeply and take in plenty of oxygen. Hydrate yourself with a lot of filtered water. Get sunshine and let the sun shine on your face and forehead at least fifteen minutes a day. Whenever you can, take your shoes off and absorb earth energy through your feet. All of these things will help boost your energy and get life force energy to flow freely through you. Get plenty of sleep and rest. Do not allow yourself to be bombarded by news and things that agitate you. Listen to harmonious and happy music, watch comedies and read. Do things that lift your spirits. De-toxify with water (put fresh lemon in your water), green tea a high nutrient diet, vitamins and minerals and herbal supplements. This will help de-toxify the liver and body. A well-functioning liver filters out toxins. Get massages and reflexology and energy cleansing and healing (Reiki and Shamanic healing) to cleanse and heal the energy body.

To summarize:

Achieve and maintain inner peace, peace of mind, balance and joy and raise your vibrations. De-stress and de-toxify. This will enable your body to more effectively absorb nutrients.

Adopt positive thinking and open and positive beliefs

Adopt a high nutrient diet and use mega vitamins and supplements and get plenty of exercise, sleep, rest, water and oxygen

Develop a clean, healthy, intact and vibrant energy body, get rid of energy attachments (that lead to unbalanced desires and lusts, obsessions and addictions) and negative energy blockages (that impede the free flow of life force energy in you), connect and integrate with your soul or higher self and inner child, elevate your soul and heart over your ego and intellect in governance of self

Maximize the generation of positive energy and minimize the generation of negative energy. Adopt love of self and others as your primary orientation (as opposed to love of money, power, things, etc.) and cultivate patience, kindness, balance and joy inside you. Do not intentionally hurt or deceive others.

Meditate in your heart, pray from your heart and center and ground yourself daily.

Find holistic healers such as holistic doctors, Reiki and shamanic healers, chiropractors, massage therapists and acupuncturists

Exercises for mind, body and spirit:

Deep breathing exercises:

Sit comfortably or lie down. Close your eyes. Smile gently. Breathe in deeply through your mouth into your belly. Life force energy and oxygen come from the breath. Hold your breath there for a few seconds. Then breathe out through your mount. Focus your mind solely on your breaths. If thoughts come in, re-focus your mind on your breaths as the thoughts drift away. On the in-breaths visualize that you are breathing in white light as unconditional love. On the out –breaths visualize that you are breathing out all negativity as black smoke. Then breathe visualized white light into your legs and arms. Fill up with the breath of visualize white light. Do this exercise for a few minutes each day and whenever you get negative, agitated or angry. During the day, your breathing should be deep and relaxed. Be mindful of your thoughts and emotions. If they go negative, then be mindful of your breathing. If your breathing is shallow and tense, you will not draw in sufficient oxygen and life force energy. So, when your breaths are shallow and tense, get back to relaxed, deep breathing.

Positive thinking exercises:

We bring negative energy into us primarily through our own negative thoughts. These negative thoughts lead to negative emotions. So, we must be mindful of our thoughts. When we realize they are negative, switch them to positive or no thoughts by shifting our energy into our hearts or body centers and doing deep breathing exercises, meditating, praying or focusing on what we encounter in the moment. When it comes to negative thoughts, work with Substitution and Distraction. Substitution - Substitute positive thoughts and images for negative ones. Switch to thoughts about or images of positive, happy and loving people in your life. Alternatively, focus on pets or scenes that make you feel positive and happy. Distraction – Distract self by bringing your mind back to the moment – i.e., work or things we encounter in the moment. Focus on the moment with full attention and awareness. Do not analyze or judge or focus on results - observe and focus on details, process and substance. When in the moment, do not let thoughts take you somewhere else, whether it is the past, the future or another place. Each time they do, re-focus on what we are doing and where you are in the moment. Do not let thoughts rob you of the precious moments of life.

Directed or seed meditation for focus

Sit comfortably. Focus on an object or symbol with your eyes open. Now, close your eyes and visualize that symbol in the middle of the inner screen in your forehead. Whenever a thought comes into your head, re-focus more intensely on the object or symbol. Negative thoughts and a negative inner voice come from the back and sides of the head. This exercise helps you develop focus. Focus comes from the middle of your forehead. The middle of your forehead is the seat of your will and intent. Positive thoughts are focused thoughts. They are thoughts related to the details of positive things such as errands, work, studies and process. Stop the negative inner voice and negative thoughts. Stop worried thoughts and angry thoughts. Stop critical and judgmental thoughts about others. Stop obsessive thoughts and ruminations. Distract and substitute or go to no thoughts. To do this, we must build up our abilities to be mindful and our will intent. We can then apply our will and intent to control our thoughts and to shift from negative to positive.

Positive affirmations

Negative thoughts come from rigid, narrow and negative beliefs. Positive thoughts come from positive beliefs and an open mind and heart. Positive thinking requires us to love and honor ourselves and be kind to ourselves. We need to cultivate a kind inner voice and get rid of the judgmental and critical inner voice. We need to stop beating ourselves up about the past. The past is over and cannot be changed. We can change the future by changing ourselves in the now. This requires us to forgive ourselves for the past and let go of and detach from the past. We do this so we can move forward in a positive and happy state of mind. An important aspect of positive thinking is to develop positive beliefs about ourselves. Positive affirmations are an essential way to do this. Positive affirmations include the words "I am" and an adjective. For example, we say over and over to ourselves "I am happy, peaceful and serene. I am love, loved and lovable. I am perfect just the way I am." There are many other positive affirmations. See YouTube for positive affirmation exercises.

White light meditation

Sit comfortably or lie down. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Get relaxed. Visualize a bright white sun where your heart is and later visualize this bright white sun in front of you. Visualize that this bright white sun radiates bright white light in your entire body and head. Visualize that the white light fills up your entire body and head and creates an intact white aura all around you. The goal is to achieve and maintain peace of mind and peace of spirit and to raise your vibrations. Clasp your hands together and visualize this white light goes out three to six inches to a foot from you. Now hold the visualized white light there with the intention of raising your vibrations. Visualized white light cleanses and heals the energy body and raises one’s vibrations. Take a few seconds each day to visualize that you are filled up with white light and that an intact shell of white light surrounds you. This will help protect you from negative energy.


Green and blue light meditation

Sit comfortably close your eyes and focus on your breath. Get relaxed. Visualize a bright green and then bright light-blue sun where your heart is and then in front of you. Visualize that this inner sun radiates bright green and then bright blue light in your entire body and head. Visualize that these colors - green and light blue- fill up your entire body and head and create an intact color aura around you. Green is for healing depression. Light blue is for healing anxiety. If you have trouble visualizing the colors green and light blue, then look at the colors and then close your eyes and imagine them. Look at grass and trees for green and the blue sky and water for light blue.

Chakra cleansing, healing, balancing and alignment

Close your eyes and sit comfortably or lie down. Focus on each of the seven major chakra points, one at the time and visualize that you bathe them in white light. Then visualize each of the chakra colors one at a time with your eyes closed. YouTube has good chakra cleansing, healing, balancing and alignment meditation videos.

Melting the hard shell around the heart (heart chakra)

Traumas and stress often cause a hard energetic shell to form around the heart (or heart chakra). To more effectively draw in chi energy/positive energy/love, melt this hard energetic shell around the heart. In meditation, close your eyes and visualize a hard gray shell around your heart. Visualize a white light orb above or in front of you. Visualize that this white light orb shoots out laser beams that blast the hard gray shell around your heart. Visualize the hard shell melt and your heart become pink, open, soft and vital.

Higher self and inner child meditation/visualizations

These exercises will help build up your inner power, self confidence, self esteem and happiness. This is done by connecting and integrating with your higher self (i.e., your soul) and inner child. Your higher self/soul is all loving, happy, holy and peaceful. Your inner child is full of happiness, wonder, energy and fun. When we are fully connected to and integrated with our higher self and inner child, we feel happy, peaceful, complete and confident. We have high self esteem, a lot of energy and we enjoy life. In meditation visualize a pure white angel that looks just like you (but is happy, peaceful and full of love and white light). See an energy cord connect you to that angel from your heart. Visualize that angel (your higher self) now merge with you. Visualize you as a child playing and having fun. See an energy cord connect you to that child from your heart. Visualize that child (your inner child) now merge with you. Visualize that you hug that child and tell him or her that he or she is safe and to just have fun. Take a pillow and visualize that pillow is you as a child and hug it. Tell the inner child you love him or her. Now, become the loving inner parent to our inner child. Indulge your inner child everyday by allowing yourself to have fun and do things that make you happy.

Meditation/visualizations to get rid of negativity:

Here is an exercise to get rid of stored anger, fear, anxiety and painful and negative memories: Visualize the image of the painful event from the past or the image that worries you about the future. Close your eyes and visualize this image in a glass ball that hovers a few feet in front of you. Put your hands on this visualized ball and push it with force deep into the ground. Hear and feel the energy cords that attach you to the image snap and fall away. Do this over and over until the image no longer has an energetic grip on you and all related anger and fear melt away. As you push the ball deep into the ground say the following to yourself: "Into the ground, into the core go away, melt away, gone." In deep meditation, visualize positive scenes that make you feel happy. Focus on scenes from nature and celebrations.

Cutting energy cords

The ego spins out energy attachments to people, things, substances and beliefs to fill a void. These energy attachments lead to unbalanced thoughts, obsessions, ruminations, lusts and addictions. As we build up the white light within and connect and integrate with higher self and inner child, the void disappears and we will not spin out these energy cords very much. In order to substantially reduce ruminations, obsessions, lusts and addictions and establish balance, it is important to cut energy cords – especially energy cords with negative and toxic people and painful memories and achieve and maintain inner peace and balance. Likewise, it is important to let go of anger and hate and fear. To heal, it is important to detach from and let go of emotional pain. So, to cut energy cords, do the following: Sit down and close your eyes. Visualize the energy cords that attach you to people, things, substances, ideas and beliefs that cause unbalanced or obsessive thoughts and addictions. Visualize them as cords connected to your heart and torso. With your weak hand visualize that you grab the cords. Then with your strong hand visualize that you cut them and sever them from you with a visualized knife or scissors. Visualize that they fall away.

Prayer

Spiritual prayer from the heart is important to connect us to the Divine source of life force energy and our higher selves and to elevate our hearts and souls over our egos. Pray to the Divine from your heart daily. Give praise and thanks to the Divine, ask for forgiveness, and ask for protection and blessings. Recite in your heart the powerful prayers of your faith. With your eyes closed, offer all negativity and sin to the Divine and ask the Divine to lift all this from you. Visualize that you are offering up this negative bundle with your eyes closed and feel it lift from you.

Grounding

Grounding is important to do to fully focus your mind and to be in the moment. Sit comfortably with your eyes closed and your feet firmly planted on the ground. Take off your shoes. Visualize that roots or laser beams shoot out from your feet and into the earth, going all the way to the center of the earth. Visualize that they anchor you firmly to the earth. Visualize that you draw the energy of the earth in through the soles of your feet and up your body.

Centering

Center yourself in the middle of your heart and the middle of your forehead and stand or sit straight. Posture is important. Negative thoughts and a negative inner voice come in when we are un-focused and slouching. Visualize a big white sun where your heart is located. Close your eyes and put your hand over your heart and shift your consciousness and energy to that spot. Alternatively, visualize an orb of white light above your head and below your feet and visualize that a beam of white light shoots out from the orbs and the light beams meet at the center of your body. With respect to centering in the middle of your forehead, put your fingers on your forehead and shift your energy and consciousness there. Center and focus. To fortify your ability to center and focus, do directed or seed mediation set forth above. Negative thoughts and a negative inner voice come from the sides and back of the head. Therefore, centering your energy and consciousness in the middle of your forehead is important to still the negative thoughts and negative inner voice. Be mindful of negative thoughts and a negative inner voice. When they come, switch to positive thoughts and images, positive affirmations, deep breathing exercises, centering yourself and staying focused in the moment. Live in the moment and your senses and not in your thoughts. Thoughts tend to always go negative when we live in them. Stop angry thoughts about the painful past or worried thoughts about the future especially. Just Be.

Visualization for energy and power

Sit comfortably with your eyes closed and your feet firmly planted on the ground. Clasp your hands together. Visualize and will the energy from the earth come up the soles of your feet, up your legs and accumulate as a molten mass of energy in your solar plexus. Hold that energy there. Alternatively, visualize a bright white sun in the middle of your solar plexus or an orb of white light in front of you that shoots white light in you. Visualize this white light accumulate like a molten mass of energy in your solar plexus. Hold the energy in your solar plexus for awhile. Meditate on the color yellow for energy and power and orange for happiness.

Alpha, beta, delta and theta brain wave entrainment

These exercises can be found on YouTube. They provide sound therapy that will help bring brain waves and brain chemistry back to normal.

Healing

If you have been diagnosed with a chronic disease or condition, the first step (from a holistic perspective) is to set aside the next few months to heal. Focus on one thing – to achieve and maintain an ongoing state of inner peace – peace of mind and peace of spirit, along with an ongoing feeling of joy. Focus on making yourself feel happy, positive and strong. These feelings must be experienced in the heart and torso. Being happy and positive are important to heal. The exercises in this article will help.

At the same time, fill yourself with energy and power. This requires daily meditation, visualization, breathing exercises, positive affirmations and prayer from the heart. Spend time in nature. Get into nature often.

Take the time to de-stress, indulge your self and build up your energy and immune system through daily meditation, visualization and breathing exercises. Do things each day to make yourself smile, laugh and feel peaceful and happy. Achieve and maintain peace of mind, peace of spirit and high vibrations through meditation, visualizations, deep breathing, positive affirmations and prayer. With respect to depression and mental and emotional disorders, these exercises along with brain wave entrainment music (theta, beta, delta brain wave entrainment with binaural beat) will help improve your brain chemistry and brain wave activity.

While in the healing mode, you need to achieve and maintain balance and eliminate stress. You also need to let go of anger, fear, worry and anxiety. You need to stop ongoing negative thoughts and emotions. You need to avoid negative and toxic people, situations and environments. You need to avoid conflict, drama and arguments. All of these things are stressful and will drain your energy and capacity to heal.
